Information we collect
Website
We collect only what is necessary to operate this site. We do not sell visitor information.
Phone and SMS services
Shaw Tech Lab operates a missed-call recovery service for small businesses. When a caller telephones a business that uses this service and no one is available to answer, the caller hears a recorded message offering to send them a text message. If — and only if — the caller presses 1 on their keypad to request it, we collect:
- The caller’s phone number
- The date and time of the call
- Whether the caller requested a text message
How we use this information
We use a caller’s phone number for one purpose: to send the single text message that the caller requested during their call. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not send follow-up or promotional messages.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade phone numbers or any personal information to third parties or lead generators.
- We do not share phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- We do not add callers to mailing lists.
Phone numbers are shared only with our telecommunications provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the message the caller requested.
Text message consent
Consent is collected during a phone call that the caller initiates. A caller receives a text message only after pressing 1 on their phone keypad to request it. No message is sent to anyone who does not take that action.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
Help. Reply HELP for information about these text messages, or email support@shawtechlab.com. For questions about your order, contact the business directly.
Message and data rates may apply. You will receive one message each time you press 1. This is not a recurring message program.
Data retention
We retain call and message records only as long as needed to operate and support the service, and to meet legal and telecommunications recordkeeping obligations.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
